Just a little note: English teenagers will understand what I'm talking about best, but the gist of my problem shouldn't be too hard to pick up on and any and all advice will be taken into account. Thanks in advance :)
I've got to hand in my GCSE Options form before Monday 6th Feb and to be honest I'm freaking out.
I already know I'm going to take French (I have to have a language GCSE to get into the sixth-form I want to get into) and Art, along with the compulsory subjects (English, Science, Maths, IT, and RPE or CES), so that leaves me with one more elective - History or Geography.
After weeks of debating, asking my teachers about the course, and taking into account where it could take me career-wise, the teachers I might get, and the exams themselves, I have decided that I want to take Geography.
The only thing holding me back is that I want to take History at A-Level, and it is strongly recommended that I take History at GCSE if I want to continue it through my A-Levels.
It may not seem like a big problem, but I'm terrified of making the wrong choice because the deadline is in less than a week and once I've handed my form in it can't be changed.
I suppose my question is what would you do in my situation and why?
