Where I live there are a lot of youtube videos that are "not available in my country." So I tried using a proxy based in a country where it IS available (i.e. America) but none of them can actually play video. Help? :/

If you're using Google Chrome you should try "Stealthy" It's an extension that you simply click to turn on and it will proxy your connection so you can make it seem like you're in almost any country. Just search for "stealthy" in the Chrome web store and it should be the first thing that shows up. It's probably one of the simplest proxy's I've used.

Do not use proxies. (my advice anyway)
The are potentially hazardous, no matter what the source is. Be careful.

Potentially is the key word here- not all proxies are hazardous.

Good point. I will remain silent ;)

No, not really.
TOR does not support flash by default because it [flash] has security holes, and most of all: you can be tracked using flash. Plus, it is licensed under terms that prohibit distribution without prior consent and stuff, so it could not be pre-includeded anyways.
