LOTR is the best book series ever. Period. The films are amongst my tops so waiting for The Hobbit is immense pain. But I don't know, the trailer just doesn't look as epic as I thought it would be. Im definitely sure thats only surface. In my opinion, PJ can do know wrong and he for sure won't lose his touch with the series now.

I love the Hobbit. Love it! The Lord of the Rings movies were absolutely epic and I don't think the Hobbit will be as big as them, but no doubt it'll be a hit!
I can't wait, it's unbearable! Plus, Martin Freeman... *fangirl flailing*

Haha! Well, I saw the LOTR movies before I read the books, but when I read the Fellowship I was surprised the amount of walking they had to cut out. They seemed to be in Eriador for most of the book, which they weren't for the film :)

But I heard The Hobbit is being changed a bit, Jackson is adding some of his own interpretation in, such as where Gandalf was when he ran off all those times.

The Hobbit is the only Tolkien book I've read all the way through. I loved it, and I love the LOTR movies as well. Because of those two things, I am really excited for the movies!

I'm real excited about the Hobbit movies! I read the all the books and loved them. I noticed that the Hobbit had a different feel and style to it than the Trilogy. I wonder if that will be translated into the movie? Either way I've got a huge boner for the movies!
