I broke a laser pointer today on accident, and the tip of it got smashed and the batteries fell out the back. I picked up the middle cylinder part (which has the laser in it) and read the warning- it said avoid exposure to the aperture, which i'm assuming is the tip. Am I fucked?

You are not fucked. If it wasn't long term exposure, you should be fine. In fact you are receiving radiation constantly from your environment. The sun, ceramic dishware, and microwaves are examples of everyday objects that give off radiation.

Wonderful answer but if any of these symptoms start to appear you know what to do.... Click here (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/radiation-sickness/DS00432/DSECTION=symptoms)

I dunno why, but I love having laser pointers in my mouth. pushing the button with my tongue and seeing the little dot in a mirror. fun.
Also, I'm gearing up to create a mini-circuitboard and attaching a CD laser to it, making a more powerful laser. If I can get my hands on a Blu-ray DVD player, I can get a laser that actually burns things!

I think you are going to live :D
There is not a very large amount of Radiation in a laser pointer, just avoid shooting it into your or someones eye, as that WILL cause damage.
But as Dimitri said, if you get any of those, seek aid.
