Dealing with parents

So yeah - parents suck. I'm kind of dating a girl right now - I like her, she likes me, I just haven't officially asked her out yet. But the issue is (not with the relationship, just overall) that both of us have crazy parents.

Whenever we hang out at her house, her mom forces us to stay in the main room. We can't hang out upstairs, or go down to her basement. Her mom also sits in the dining room which is right behind us, the entire time.

My parents are cool... but we don't really have a basement. Our TV room is right next to the kitchen, and the same room where my sister and my dad are most of the time, so that doesn't really work either.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm asking here... but yeah. Parents suck. Any ideas for how to deal with this so I can actually hang out with her?

Go out places away from houses. But I am sure they are rightly worried that you two might do something that you will later regret. Just talk with her away from the homes.

Actually, things seem pretty legitimate from my point of view. I can see her parents being protective, and in your house it's just a coincidence.

I'm pretty sure it's nothing that won't be dealt with soon.
