I have always been big against pot smoking but something came over me yesterday
I stooped to my bfs level and decided to get high with him. The stuff I smoked was apparently king kush but.I.don't rememer much after.I got high. I remember some stuff like me and my bf cuddling and stuff but I don't remember much else. I have only smoked weed a few other times before but the way my body reacted was out of this world. I didn't get sick I just felt really good. However here's the problem. I know u can't get hooked on pot but I don't wanna get into it regularly and have drugs take over my life im scared of marijuana leading to other things but the only way im ok with my bf doing pot is if I do it with him..... so ummmm what should I do so thisdoesnt become a full time habit. I already smokes cigarettes so what's next?

The risk of a physical addiction is rather low, but you can become psychologically dependent/addicted. With habitual use you may find yourself wanting and craving the feeling of being high or "stoned".

I wouldn't worry too much about so-called "addiction". On the Perrine scale and other studies, marijuana is less addictive than cocaine, alcohol, heroin, caffeine and nicotine. In fact, nicotine is one of the most addictive substances in the world. Caffeine is actually about as addictive as cocaine and shares similar withdrawal symptoms, albeit more mild. Marijuana is virtually non-addictive. Certainly physically, it is safe to say it is not addictive. Psychologically, it depends on how you use it, why you use it, your mental health and your personality. There are certainly many people who report "addiction" to marijuana, so proceed with caution. If you don't want to use it regularly; don't use it. Take breaks. Find things to do. A lot of people get dependent on weed because they use it as a crutch; an answer to their problems. That's not good. Neither is sitting idle and blazing up 24/7.

King Kush averages at about 15% THC and 0.05% CBD with Around 1% CBN. Not a bad strain. If you do indeed get medical grade, you can use Budgenius and the FSL website to get total cannabinoid ratios and concentrations. If you're worried about freaking out on cannabis or psychosis risk (which still has yet to be clearly demonstrated), look for higher CBD strains. The CBN is oxidized THC and will make you more tired (as a weak agonist for the CB1/CB2 receptors). While Dr. Tashkin did a good job of refuting any suggestion that marijuana can cause lung cancer or cause a definite increase in risk of COPD/Emphysema, it's still a good idea to watch your lungs. If you can, invest in a vaporizer or take smaller, shorter hits. Now in my own experience, I found that cannabis improved my lung function and decreased my asthma symptoms, even from a crap-tastic short, metal pipe. However, I think that for most people it might make your lungs a little raw and scratchy.

I'd be more worried about the cigarettes. Nicotine can be a nasty, nasty little molecule sometimes.

You have no need to worry. Weed is THE safest "drug" you can take/use. If you were snorting cocaine, or shooting meth, that may give you reason to fear becoming hooked. I've been smoking (weed) for 4 years now. The longest I've gone without smoking has been about a week in that whole 4 year time span. My health is perfect, and i am not at all "addicted" to weed. If i chose, i could never touch weed again, but i choose not to. Drinking is worse than marijuana, and can be addictive; so i would quit worrying about weed, and focus on not doing other things. (i am not promoting it). I do good in school (all A's and B's), and I am going to college in the next 2 months, which prooves marijuana can be safe, if used in moderation.

Remember guys, don't glorify drug use or advocate it.
