I really wish people (not here really) but real life would stop being so judgemental about the fact I'm dating someone who is 7 years older than me. he treats me right and takes care of him. My mom thinks the world of him....why do people have to judge?

That is just the society we grew up in and we cant change it. But if your friends and the ones who are close to you accept you and your decisions, dont worry about the rest of the world.

Because you are still a child, and it seems a bit weird for you to be dating an adult. I understand completely, but it is morally wrong. I have gone out with men 13 years older than me and am currently in the beginning stages of getting involved with a man 8 years older than me. The fact is, though, that I am 18 years old, and it's a bit different when you are considered a legal adult. It makes you wonder why someone that age is dating a 15 year old girl who is yet to mature enough, and not someone his own age.
But if your parents approve of him, and he isn't forcing you to do anything creepy, it's okay, and you can ignore those people who get pissy about it.

The older the guy is, the more mature he is. My dad is 10 years older than my mom and nothing is wrong with that. If you were 15+ years older that would be odd, but not bad. My friends parents are 20 years apart (dad is older)!
As long as he treats you right and with respect thats all that matters! :)

I agree with Ambrosia.
But yes, people will tend to think badly of the situation due to the fact that you are a child and he is an adult.

people judge because our culture has developed what i like to call pedoparanoia- everyone's paranoid that anyone hanging out with a younger person is automatically a pedophile.
If you guys are both happy in the relationship then anyone judging is just ignorant. Laugh at them ;)

You're 15, hes 21. It has nothing to do with judging, it's about safety. A 21 year old can easily manipulate you. Of course, since you said your mother thinks the world of him (assuming that means she thinks hes a good guy) then he wont hurt you, as for other people they think its strange because he is an adult and you're still a child.
Edit: Fuck, didn't notice the date. Sorry about the bump.

Less than a month, not a bump. Bump limit is two months for this section.

I dated a girl 28 (me 14 then) for 2 years. She likes older and when she was my age she had a gf for 5 years who was 35. Oh and I was still to start puberty when I met her.

Age is just a number (to a certain extent!!!) and this relationship really depends on your level of maturity and sensibility.
Hell, a 23 year old could even be at risk of manipulation by his/her 16 year old partner! But others will not know of your maturity level as a person. Hence they will be quick to question your relationship with this guy.
