Okay. I'm going to start out with explaining the situation and everything. Help to how I should handle this is appreciated.
Okay... So I am a senior. I haven't really had to many girlfriends throughout high school, a few crushes and a few small "things" with girls, but never anything serious. Middle of junior year I met a girl, so I don't use her name, she is going to be referred to as Girl #1. Me and Girl #1 started talking and within a few days we really started opening up to one another. She is very attractive and has a personality that matches mine well. I obviously really liked her... However she was in a conflict as this guy she had really liked for a while came into her life, she was conflicted to date me, or the guy she had liked for a while. Knowing I was a pretty decent guy, and would stay friends with her either way, she decided to pick the guy she had liked for a while. That decision is completely fine with me. Obviously I was bumming a little bit right when it happened but whatever. Me and Girl #1 have stayed really really close friends through the past year or so. We're basically best friends, their for each other through EVERYTHING, and we both have had pretty stressful years needing each other a lot.
Around September of my senior year Friend #1 wanted to help, she saw that I still really liked Girl #1. Friend #1 didn't want me to go through all of my senior year focusing on this girl that they knew could possibly continue to stay with their boyfriend for a while. So Friend #1 wanted to set me up with a girl. She introduced me to Girl #2. I started talking to Girl #2, realized she was really cool, she was also very attractive and has a personality that fits well with mine. I decided to go ahead and date Girl#2, although I still am remaining best friends with Girl #1 and continue to really like her. Do not get me wrong I do really really like girl #2 or else I wouldn't have even considered dating her, but the feelings for Girl #1 do not just go away.
Girl #2 knows Girl #1 and knows that I used//still do like Girl #1. She understands it all and is just a jealous person. She says she does not want me to completely stop talking to Girl #1, even though I know that that's what she ACTUALLY wants. However since I am still only in high school I am not willing to lose the friendship that I have with Girl #1 for a girl that I just started talking to in October. So I am not going to not be friends with Girl #1. Girl #1 has been their for me through a lot as have I for her. Girl #1 admitted that before she started dating her boyfriend that she did like me but those feelings she had to me do not compare to what she feels for her boyfriend right now. However she continues to stay really close to me, it is pretty obvious she has feelings for me. Girl #1 and I could potentially have something in the future, after high school.
Girl #2. I do really like her. However she is a year younger then me so she will only be a senior when I am in college. I am traveling a couple hours away for college so between the age difference, the distance and all the other factors of college, I am not sure me and Girl #2 will be able to survive a relationship. I do really like Girl #2 but it seems like she is more or less a girl for me to date my senior year so that I can have a good time, focus my mind away from Girl #1 for a little while, and get some relationship experience.
Questions:
What do you think about my whole situation?
What should I do with Girl #1?
What should I do with Girl #2?
How long should I keep a relationship going with Girl #2? Should I allow it to continue on into college and try to make it work?
Thanks for the help :)
