View Full Version : Unfair Reps?

I've recently received 3 unfair reps. i need them deleted but idk how.
The 3 bad reps was because of a previous question about what happens if I accidentally logged into my other account. Because I got frozen so then Ambrosia said that it was banned. Cause I was worried I'd accidentally login to that account. So I didn't want to gt into trouble if I accidentally logged into it.
So here is the reps I received from that question (negative reps)
Rep 1: "Fake account" (which I've already been punished for by getting frozen)
Rep 2: "your sig made ma think the oppisite" (actual spelling)
Rep 3: "If you had read The rules you would have known creating a second account is against The rules... -Infidelitas" (someone thought I gave them a bad rep so they gave one back to me, I didn't not give them a bad rep)

How can I get them fixed? I tried contacting 3 people who work for VT

This thread.

Just be patient. It's highly unlikely that a staff member -- much less three of them -- will ignore you.

Edit: Oh, you've been satisfied. Never mind then.

You will find that the rep that this is the comment that I wrote:
If you had read the rules, you would know that creating a second account is against the rules. Oh, I am not saying it was you, but if you neg rep, at least sign it so I know what I did wrong... ~Infidelitas

I am allowed to use my rep freely as I wish, and I had good reason to give it.

But their was no reason for repping me bad if it wasn't me. I asked a simple question about my other account. Ambrosia answered it. And I still do not know why you decided to rep me bad for no reason. Because I already got punished for my fake account.

the main reason was that the rules said not to make 2+accounts

I didn't need to be punished further. Especially something that sticks with me.

Ya, but I already got punished for it. My account was frozen, I do not need another punishment for something that didn't involve anyone else, especially because it wasnt someone who worked for VT

do you know how to not make it public?

there are somethings that should be kept in a pm. but, if you are breaking the rules, then you'll most likely get neg repped.

But, why does it even matter. It's opinions.

It matters because reps is something that people look at. If you were negative repped for reasons that weren't good you wouldn't be happy

You're right. I wouldn't be happy.

I wouldn't be happy when I click on Ronnie's or David's profile.

I wouldn't be happy when I clicked "PM"

I wouldn't be happy when I get redirected.

I wouldn't be happy when I type a subject, most likely called "Rep."

I wouldn't be happy when I write "Please check my reputation"

I wouldn't be happy when I click send.

I wouldn't be happy when I moved on.

Then I'd be happy, because I moved on.

You'd think I would have done this before. Oh wait, I have.

it's just rep. it's not going to ruin your life if you get a neg rep -_-

It's really not a big deal. Rep doesn't change who you are as a person. You're still you.

Probably announcing to VT that you made a dupe wasn't the smartest move, and maybe privately contacting a mod would have been better. Think before you post, is the best way to go.

If you really want to get rid of the rep, contact an admin and they might remove it. Otherwise, suck it up, and make good posts, and maybe your rep will go up. :)

This question really doesn't need all this arguing. If you continue, infractions will be distributed like sour candy (And no one wants that :( ) HELP the OP, don't bash him for doing something silly that he clearly already got in trouble for.

First of all, majority of those reps would stand minor the slightly bad spelling on number 2 they all stand.

you ask for positve rep=-rep because rep is earned through good posts and general liking on the forums.

I used to complain about rep and overall I got more -rep that positive and you learn to live with it overall, I must say however it can be unfair but those would stand because if you search previous rep posts then you are told if you ask for positve rep- u get negitive rep :):(

You could pm the admin but if they are busy then I suggest you live with it and move on.

In away I can understand negitve reps- and I sometimes give them out, but overall you need to accept that if you had read the rules and kept it to pm, all those negitve reps would not exist, also posting the comments is not advised as it could give other people ideas.

Pm and admin about it if it bugs you or disable rep in the user cp. or live with it
