Do you ever hang out with a good friend and then later/at the time want to know how big his penis was or "experiment" with? Well I don't think we can give you advice on how to start experimenting ( I may be wrong), but I'm just gonna say test the waters to see how comfortable he is with talking about that stuff. And as far as the other question goes, no I have not.
