idk much other than what i've been told by doctors, get a towel or something and apply pressure with the wound higher than your heart but if its that bad you need to get medical attention regardless if they know or not.

If you can see fat, you need to get medical attention. Like Louise said, put pressure on it with a towel and hold it above your heart. Don't take the towel away from the cut to look at it, that'll dislodge any clots that have formed. Keep the pressure on and try and get to a hospital.

You really need to seek medical advice. I know people know you're not, but your safety is so much more important. It's really important that you tell someone, so you don't get it infected, or cause dammage.

If you need to talk, feel free to PM me. :)

I can definately relate to that feeling. It's one of the hardest feelings to have. I know she thinks that you're not cutting, but maybe if you told her, as much as it would hurt her, it would help you. I know it's really hard to tell people, but I really think you should. I think she wants to know, and help.

Part of me wants to tell her right now but the other part of me wants to run and hibernate.

i am tempted to call my counselor but im afraid she would have the police or an ambulance here in no time.

I think that you're thinking along the right lines. Your counselor is here for you, and I think you should use that. She's here for you, and wants to help. I know the feeling of wanting to run and hibernate. I really want to quite often, but in reality, that's not really going to get you anywhere, where as telling someone might.

 to you

So i emailed my counselor last night thinking she would just get it in the morning. Well she replied right away. She said that I was now at a higher risk for continuing to cut deep so I was to turn over all my blades immediately and if I continued cutting she would have to recommend hospitalization. I am suppose to call her this morning and I am scared.

Well done for calling her! That was really brave and now that someone knows it will help. I think its a sensible idea to hand over anything you use blades, knives, pins just so the temptaion isn't there and even if you wanted to you couldn't. I know it might seem frightening but it will be ok, she is only there to help you and do whats best for you so anything she reccomends just keep it in mind.
I think you should just call and get it over with, the longer you leave it the harder its going to get and you need to hear what she has got to say, i mean its not like she is just going to leave it. Good luck with the call if you haven't made it already :)
