Is it okay to just ask a friend if they want to mac? i have a friend who i want to make out with but i dont want to screw up the friendship. i understand macking is very causal so i dont expect it to mess things up much. also, is it okay to ask a person you bareley know to mac? there's a person at my school who shows somewhat of an intrest in me (i think) and i was wondering how (and if) i could ask her.... any comments?

it depends what your morals are. most people save making out with someone their close to. most people would consider doing things with someone their not in a relationship with for the purpose of giving into a sexual desire kinda slutty. doing it with anyone could spread germs or mononucleosis(mono), which is not fun. and mono is not attractive. personally i think kisses are special and if you give them to just anyone, their worthless.

I personally find that disgusting and to be honest I'm not much of an affectionate person to begin with so really kissing people I barely know or just met would be out of the question.

Apart from cold, flu and cold sores I think you'd be hard pushed to come across someone who has suffered one of these and been able to undeniably pinpoint kissing as the cause.

no, seriously, mono is nicknamed "the kissing disease". my school happens to be #1 in the district for mono. menengitis is a problem too.
