Why, why do you take the kettle off the stove
you're are only going to through it back in the flame
you kindled and hope it simmers down.
Coming back and begging for more ice
just so you can wash your problems away,
Well I've already wasted my water on you!
If you need someone to sweeten your tea
you better go look for another bowl, because I'm tired
of sweetening a tea that will just sour my love for others.
Timelessly I've stained my pots and cups on bitterness I can't return
I just wish I could bag all the leaves up, and serve you your bitter cup of tea, you deserve.
I just wish I could bag it all up and leave it where it won't bother me anymore.
