How do I work this out?

Hi there, I'm new to VT, so pardon if I'm doing something newbish and I don't know about it or if this is the wrong forum to post this.

So there's this guy in class that I kinda of like. He's cute, kind of quiet, smart and athletic.

The problem is I only see him during English, Chemistry, and occasionally the hallway. We haven't talked to each other. I also don't know how to flirt with him, or even talk to him. He is always with a friend.

How can I make friends and flirt and get him to see that I like him? He very rarely gets on facebook. Btw, I'm a guy. Gay.

I don't know. That is the other main thing. But I haven't talked to him really.

Most people aren't gay really. We're talking around 1 in 20 even in the most gay friendly capitals like San Francisco. Some parts of America will be more like 1 in 50 or below. I would be very smooth about it if you wanted anything to happen :P start as friends and make conversation as you would with any other friend

As the mod said, he probably isn't gay. It doesn't mean you two can't be friends though. Just be yourself, and he'll probably really like you. You seem like a nice guy :) Sorry if this doesn't work out
