While I love the entire first half of the twentieth century, mine is definitely the 50s.

I mean, look at these classy dresses.

Which decade's fashion is your favorite?

For me it has to be the 80's I would say 50's but I'm not a fan of how every girl in the 50's wore nothing but dresses. lol

Hmm, I don't really think I have a favorite decade... there are things I like and dislike about each.

I really do love those three dresses, though!

I'd have to say 50's also, but if not that, then like 1760's. Beautiful clothing back then.

I don't really wear anything but skirts and dresses. Maybe that's why I like 50s fashion so much.

I also really like the 80s style. It is slowly coming back. Ex. Leggings with zipper son them, and big glasses. I really like that style, amid love fashion, so so so much!

mainstream fashion would be the 20's- flapper gowns, etc., but subculture fashion would have to be the 80's, with metal and goth subcultures beginning to have an impact on style :)

Can I say late 70s and 80s. I have seen pics of my uncles and I really like their sharp-big-fast American cars and sharp fitting clothes. No baggy crap for them.

I enjoy the trend going on right now in Tokyo...
Little bit of 80's mixed with the 90's casual so its a bit more toned down.

Basically you can walk in to a used clothing store, blindly pick up items, put it on, walk out and call yourself fashionable.
It's so fun, free, and cheap.
whereas mainstream 90s fashion was too expensive and conservative.

I love the 30s-40s and the 80s... but again Bettie Page and pinup is the hottest of the them all.

I much prefer 80s style to anything in existence.

~ 1840s to 1900s. I would kill to have been able to wear such lovely dresses as were in the Victorian era. I'd say I'd like to live in the Victorian era but really the only benefit for women in that era is playing dress-up.

Wow I'm surprised no one said the 60's. I admire the fashion of the Hippy counterculture.

I like 20s-50s fashion. Skip four tragic decades. I like the current vintage stuff too, whenever that supposedly came from.

EDIT: Michael Jackson is a big exception.
