My Mum HATES My Boyfriend..

I started dating this guy in november and now things have gotten pretty serious between us..

I'm really into him, but my mum literally loathes him! (for the following reasons: )

- He's 6 years older than me
- Has a job in a supermarket
- Has tattoos
- She thinks he's distracting me from my work

Im really fucking angry about it now, and feel like she's trying to stop me seeing him... whats worse, she makes me start to question our relationship! I know im not marrying him or anything, but RIGHT NOW he makes me happy and is an important part of my life.

I've never had anyone be so lovely to me. He's a gentleman and usually very shy, and he completely makes me weak at the knees.

I just don't know what to do about my mum... should i ignore her? should i confront her? should i leave him cus she disapproves?

Well, I do have to say one thing.

Mother normally knows best. She might have had a relationship like that in high school or something that didn't go too well, so she might be a bit bitter to him, because he reminds her of her old boyfriend. *shrugs*
