He sounds like he's jealous because you're interacting with other males, and he's afraid that you might like one of his friends more than you like him. You should let him know that you are allowed to make friends with whomever you so desire, and reassure him that you love him and will stay faithful to him throughout your entire relationship.

It sounds like he is a little possessive, as in he wants you to only be around him. There is also the possibility that he is worried his friends would try to flirt/steal you. I also think he is being immature about this, though. Tell him how you feel and if he doesn't listen or give you a reasonable explanation about why he doesn't want you to hang out with his friends, then I would suggest to dump him.
