I like them, I'm a very technical guy though and basically only listen to complex music(Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment, etc...) and they're a little to main stream sounding for me.

Hard Christian rock needs to stop being such a good genre, dammit. I'm an atheist (in case you haven't seen my tirades in ROTW) so people always get confused when I say I like Skillet. Their latest record, Awake, was 75% shit. Comatose was an excellent record. Their best, though, by far, was Collide. It's grimy enough that it's slightly grungy (and orgasmy), but cleanish enough that it's not noisy. They've gotten more and more watered-down ever since Collide.
I just wish they weren't so goddamn preachy in their concerts.

I like them okay. I'm not huge on praise bands, but they're different. But I agree with some of the above replies. I think awake was shit, and comatose is my personal favorite. I also saw them live once, and their live performance is very good.

Whatever you do, DO NOT start with Awake! Collide or Comatose, but Collide is just ashdhgjfkakshffuckingpantycreamer.

I love their older music, as well as a few from Awake. I've been following skillet for four years or so and they've made a huge impact on my life.

Invincible, Hey You I Love Your Soul, and Comatose are my personal favorite albums. :)

My friend got me listening to skillet a good 6, 7 months ago and I've been in love ever since. And my favourite album is Collide too, although I have nothing against awake..

i like them, much to my friends amusement since im a very passionate atheist lol im not a huge fan but i have 2 of their albums and i could listen to it all day
