Ok people so I've been working up in the oil fields for past few months and I need help with an audio system for my car which I will be getting in a few weeks (a 2007-2010 Dodge Charger).

Heres what I want:

Dece level of bass, not douchebag level of bass tho
Also I download most of my music so I want to know is if I have a good quality sound system, will these three mp3 formats really sound different?

MP3 128kb/s 32,000 HZ med. quality
MP3 196kb/s 44,100 HZ high quality
MP3 300kb/s 48,000 HZ Hi-Fi quality

Normally I'm not an audiofile with my ipod but in a car I want good quality etc

Thanks for le help.

Higher Bitrate = more sound data = clearer and more accurate reproduction.

All Mp3's are EXTREMELY compressed..

A 4MB song in Mp3 format is going to sound worse than a raw 215MB song in FLAC format.

To anwser your OP: a 320kbps mp3 @ 48k sampling rate will sound slightly better than a 192kbps mp3 @ 32k.. think of it like the iPhone 3g being compared to the 3gs
