so i haven't lost anyone or something but lately I've been depress and thinking of killing myself but not in a cruel way just jumping from an edge in a quiet peaceful place
when I'm around my friends I'm really happy, we are having fun and laughing but when I'm alone in my room I'm having what i call afternoon thoughts of not being able to live anymore and feeling sad for no reason...

Not everyone has been through something awful to lead up to being depressed. Some people just become depressed... maybe because they feel something is missing from life or they don't like themselves. Don't worry about not having some huge backstory because it doesn't change the fact that your emotions are just as important as everyone else's. :)

Try to spend more time with your friends if they do make you happy. When that's not possible, distract yourself. It seems like you have a good relationship with your friends so maybe do something like make little bracelets for them or draw pictures of them. It may seem childish but it they really do bring you joy, find ways to incorporate them into your life when they can't be around. Ask one of them for a TV series or movie they particularly enjoy and check that out. Or find a book one of them suggests.

Killing yourself is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and your friends would miss you if you succeeded. It's not worth it when you have so much life left to live since you're still so young now. If these thoughts are more than just fleeting thoughts, find someone to talk to about this because letting it get worse never ends well. A therapist or doctor can find ways to help you through this rough spot in your life.

Hope this helped.

If that's so, it's certainly better than thinking about it all the time or planning something. If it ever gets that far, don't be afraid to ask for help. It's showing great strength to open up to people rather than revealing weakness. :)

Then it sounds like you're already doing a few of the things I thought of. :P I hope it works for you. If something's missing from your life, try taking up a new hobby or, again, ask around for things to do and you never know — you may just find something you're incredibly passionate about.

Good luck and I'm always here if you need anything.
