Verbal Abuse *Check it Please*

so i know there's worst things out there than verbal abuse but in this case is happening to me
my mom is keep calling me names that i don't like and even i told her i don't like she stills doing it
i love her but when she is calling me names i really get angry and i exaggerate by responding her in a harsh way and she gets mad but i go to my room slam the door and that's its. i don't speak to her until the next day...
what i should do to stop her abusing me in a verbal way?

Try talking to her before she even starts to say mean things. Tell her that you don't like the criticism that she is constantly giving out. This may cause her to think before she yells next time.

i will try that even i kinda tried it before...

Well, maybe its not the best of ideas, but she could have stuff going on that you have no clue about and its stressing her out. If what was said above works and she at least lightens up, just ask if everything is okay. It might seem weird with her being your mom and some kids just wont do it, but you would be doing her a great favor if you were willing to listen to her vent about her stress.

well i always ask her if something is going on and i know when something is going in my family but it doesn't seems fair whenever she is mad about something to take on me...
