So I cut pretty deep a few days ago and rather than the usual gauze and tape I put a large bandaid over the cuts....well two large bandaids. Well now I cant get them off. Any thoughts of how to remove them without a lot of damage.

I'd soak my arm in *warm* water for a while? It might loosen the adhesive a little. After that wash the wounds with mild soap and water, and make sure you dress it properly. I've been there plently of times. Rubbing alcohol is your best friend for the next two days my friend.

Soak your arm in warm salt water for about ten minutes and gently remove it like that. The salt water will also help clean the cut while you're waiting for it to soak through the band-aids. Make sure to dress it properly next time to avoid this a second time because aggravating the cuts by trying to remove band-aids all the time won't help healing.
Also, don't use rubbing alcohol on an open wound because that stings like hell and is prone to drying out the cut too much which will irritate it. Peroxide stings as well but works much better. Also, ointments like Neosporin help kill bacteria if you put it on overnight then let the cut air out with just a plain dressing during the day.
If it's deep enough to need stitches, your best bet is to go to see a doctor or the local ER if it becomes badly infected.

I always use rubbing alcohol on my deeper cuts for the sheer reason that it does sting like hell. *hides under chair*

Rubbing alcohol is a disinfectant but it's not generally meant to be used on open wounds, only the area around it to kill the bacteria. Or on objects, such as tweezers or medical equipment. I've always been advised against ever using rubbing alcohol on cuts to avoid making them worse from irritation.

For future reference, if they're in a spot hard to soak, take a washcloth or a towel and soak it in the salt water. Hold it over the spot you want to soak until the towel gets cool then soak it in warm water again and continue like this for awhile and it works the same way. :) Makes it a little less awkward.
There's a sticky here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21146) for other first aid-like things.
