so i have never in my life had a wet dream i masterbate alot i was just wondering do most ppl have one? and why do you have a wet dream is it bc you havent jacked off in a while?

Quite a few people do have them but actually I think they are a minority. There is no completely satisfactory explanation as to why they happen but the closest we have is that if you are not ejaculating through masturbation or sex and instead let your semen build up your body gets fed up waiting and you have a wet dream.

I think they are often referred to in literature about puberty with the implication that it is through a wet dream that a guy will come to know he can ejaculate because somehow they seem less taboo than masturbation. Perhaps that is because the adults writing the books can acknowledge physical development without having to acknowledge sexual desire.

In practice most guys discover they can ejaculate by masturbating.

i used to have them a lot. It was only because my body was over-producing semen and i didn't masturbate enough (at the time, i would masturbate 2 times a day and it still wasnt enough!). But nowadays, it only happens when i don't jack off for a while.
