Is running/jogging every morning in addition with a healthy diet the quickest way to lose weight?

yep. ive always been perfect in my weight, but i think i can help u out.
I used to run 5 miles every morning before school. Start with one mile, and gradually increase. try to do more over the weekends. After running a few miles, do sit ups and push ups. the trick is to do as many as u can until u experience muscle failure and physically cant go anymore. eat only fruits, salads, and lean meats (turkey ham ect). try to bring your own salad for lunch at school and avoid any sauce, try a bit of olive oil :)

It can seem overwhelming at first, but runners have the best bodies. i ran and did situps every morning until i wanted to puke! now, im one of the fastest kids on the lax team with the best endurance. its hard i know, but you will only loose weight when you really want to. listen to speeches on success on youtube, that gets me through a rough workout. just when you are going to give up, remember your goal. how bad you want it.

dont give up, no matter what. PM me if u want any more help or more detail into workouts, im training on the field and in the gym 6 days a week lol

Yes...but I'd try to bike ride or swim if you can.

Running is great for your heart and general fitness, however...in time it does destroy your knees.

if u warm up and stretch you will be fine, but yea biking and swimming are good too. knee injuries are super common and really bad

It's good yes, a lot of cardio in running. I'd add in other workouts though.

Glad to see I'm not the only one on VT eating right and trying to stay in shape.

One of the easiest ways to stay in shape in my mind! I wake up at 6 every morning and run for about an hour before my classes. That and eating healthy are great ways to lose weight and stay in shape.

Hi Jordan,
Obviously it is. Morning running/jogging reduces the risk of heart attack by half and increase the strength of our heart and lungs. Oxygen inhaled results great amount of
energy especially to our joints and reduces cholesterol level also. It increases self confidence and prevent from depression, stress and anxiety.

Tried and tested by me. Only that was in contact sport.

Running helps me stay more alert and wakes me up, also gets me tired enough to fall asleep at night time. Pretty good I'd say, overall.

Hmmm, running will help you lose fat but it's quite harsh on your joints. I would recommend swimming or cycling instead. But I suppose you'll need a swimming pool/the sea for the swimming and a bike for the cycling. For running you don't need anything..............it's easier to organize.
