It's interesting... what if there isn't someone out there for me? I don't know, I'm not interested in kissing and having sex and that stuff... bacteria and viruses scare me off... I just want to have a best friend significant other. Like, not just a friend because I'd love that guy, but... I don't know. If anyone feels this way, it would be nice to know I'm not weird...

Right... its just that if there's 7 billion people in the world, it's like looking for maybe 1,000 needles in a haystack of 7 billion.

You're not alone. Thing is, everyone is right. There are so many people on this planet and you have your whole life ahead of you. It may seem like there's no one right now, especially when people around you are already dating for the first (or sixth, who knows) time. Some people can like lots of people very easily. Others don't fall for people the same way and so we wait a little longer for that right person. Also, you may not get it right the first time but love is love for the time being and one day, you will find the right person and, if it's the case, you'll have the fond memories from before. :)

Be patient. You're not weird at all. You'll find someone.

I've always liked the needle in a haystack analogy for people looking for a relationship, because it makes me think that they just need to look at the haystack, (the world) and jump on in and roll around (get out and meet tons of people) and see what pokes out (The significant other) YAY!

Idk, sometimes I think it would have been great to have just a great friend, not a lover in future... but it seems impossible when everyone is mad about sex
