Hey guys! I'm new here. I'm Asian, 17 years old.... Male :)

I'm just wondering if any of you faced the same problem as me.
We all have front cameras on our iPhone or iPad etc.. EVerytime when I use the front camera to snap a picture, I looked really okay. But after that when I go to the photo library, our pictures will be flipped to the original position. I look like a piece of crap. I look different. I don't know if I'm the only one expericing is. It feels really demoralizing. I like what I see on the mirror image and not my real image.

I don't know if I'm too worried about my looks, after all we're living in such judgemntal world.... I think it's really important. your views please? Thanks :)

Because when you see yourself the most often, you're looking in a mirror.

No one's perfectly symmetrical, and you're brain subconsciously sees those tiny differences). So when you see a picture of yourself, it's a flipped image of what you normally see when looking in a mirror(though that's how everyone sees you-as you look in a regular picture.

So when you take a picture of yourself in a mirror, you get to see yourself they way you're used to seeing it most often.

I actually look pretty decent in the mirror, but almost all the time, If it's a group photo especially, i just ruin the photo.

Its like..
When i dont have a reflective surface around, i look like crap, haha :P

I feel the same way lol. I look in the mirror and I think "I don't like that bad today", Then I'll take a picture of myself and look at it and I think "Man.... I look awful" xD Me + Pictures = no good lol
