Make a EVP session...do NOT force it to answer
"Click record and and ask if there are any spirits there and could they speak into the voice recorder, then ask suitable questions like, Whats your name? Did you live here? When did you die? Do you need help? (it depends where you are and why etc, youl know the questions you want to ask, but thats the basic kind of thing you should usually start off with) Generally recording evp should be for about 5 to 10 minutes and make sure you leave about a 20 second pause between questions." -> from a paranormal forum, from trustful people....

I believe Sage has already torn this topic to shreds. His argument, which I adopt as my argument too against those who advocate the existence of 'ghosts':
I made it perfectly clear how they can justify their beliefs. All they need to do is:
1) Define what a 'ghost' is.
2) Explain why their definition of a 'ghost' is the most accurate definition.
3) Explain how they came to this knowledge.
That's it. Why has no one done this? Is it so absurd to think that, oh, I don't know... they have no answers? Every single time someone dares to apply critical thinking and rationality to this subject, they're met with nothing but wives tales and cryptic warnings and hints of some long lost, unfathomable dark knowledge. Give me a damned break.
There. If any believers want to make headway in this debate, I've dumbed my argument down to just three questions. I even numbered them. Now can I get some bloody answers, or am I not cool enough to be enlightened in the spoOooOooky realm of knowledge?

A ghost is a manifestation of the spirit or soul of a person.[11] Alternative theories expand on that idea and include belief in the ghosts of deceased animals. Sometimes the term "ghost" is used synonymously with any spirit or demon,[12] however in popular usage the term typically refers to a deceased person's spirit.
The belief in ghosts as souls of the departed is closely tied to the concept of animism, an ancient belief which attributed souls to everything in nature.[13] As the 19th-century anthropologist James Frazer explained in his classic work, The Golden Bough, souls were seen as the creature within that animated the body.[14] Although the human soul was sometimes symbolically or literally depicted in ancient cultures as a bird or other animal, it was widely held that the soul was an exact reproduction of the body in every feature, even down to clothing the person wore. This is depicted in artwork from various ancient cultures, including such works as the Egyptian Book of the Dead, which shows deceased people in the afterlife appearing much as they did before death, including the style of dress.
A widespread belief concerning ghosts is that they are composed of a misty, airy, or subtle material. Anthropologists speculate that this may also stem from early beliefs that ghosts were the person within the person, most noticeable in ancient cultures as a person's breath, which upon exhaling in colder climates appears visibly as a white mist.[13] This belief may have also fostered the metaphorical meaning of "breath" in certain languages, such as the Latin spiritus and the Greek pneuma, which by analogy became extended to mean the soul. In the Bible, God is depicted as animating Adam with a breath.
Numerous theories have been proposed by scientists to provide normal explanations for ghost sightings.[13] Although the evidence for ghosts is largely anecdotal, the belief in ghosts throughout history has remained widespread and persistent.

I admit, I know next to nothing about dark matter. I do not have a legitimate opinion regarding dark matter and its existence or lack thereof. Had I actually cared about such a topic, I might have done research and would have a legitimate opinion, supported by evidence. However, I have not seen proof for the existence of it, nor for the lack thereof. Ergo, I have no opinion. Mostly just because I don't give a fuck. It's irrelevant and you're completely missing the point.
