Baby bro hates me :(

I know this could go in family but i think it is just the fact i sm very depressed about it now.
Well since i have woke up my baby bro, (1 year and 3 months) Has screamed everytime he sees me, Scratched my eye nearly then tried grabbing my eye and pull it, He screams everytime i go near mum or the birds or the dog and he is scared if i come down.
So since i woke up i have just been crying my eyes out kinda like now, I am so close to my mum, Baby bro and my dog and even though we have had the birds for a little while i love standing there with them and they are so fun to watch, But just not being able to do that because of my baby bro.
I do not hate him but the fact he is scared of me and does not want me touching him, I feel like a monster and i should just leave home to make him happy, I love my baby bro to pieces so this is very hard for me right now.
Is he going through a stage and will it be over soon? I can't cope with this! :'(
Edit: He just hurt himself so i runned down to help him but he started running away screaming and crying even though he was hurt! This is absolute torture!

i know this sounds bad but you shouldn't try and make contact with him for a while. and then when things die down a bit you should by him a nice toy or something. He is likely to respect you for that :)

Yeah i will try that, God this is a pain ha ha i feel beteer now but my baby bro is still the same.

Man, as dumb as this sounds, I don't think he hates you. He's 15 months. They scream and cry and fuss. I know it seems like he does, but chances are he doesn't recognize you. Picture parents leaving a 15 month old baby with a baby-sitter. What happens? Answer is he cries and fusses. He's probably just not familiar with you. So spend time with him. Yes, he'll scream and cry, but that's the only way to get him confortable with you. You gotta fight the urge, and show him you're safe to be with. Have a treat or a toy he likes or something and make him get it or chase it or something. This is most likely just a stage though. He'll grow out of it. Remember, he's only 15 months.
