1. Stupid
2. It could get you banned
3. What do you have to hide, and why, and from whom
4. what is my ip (http://clientn.real-hide-ip.com/map/whatismyip.php) <---- literally took me 2 seconds to google that. lol.
You really have no reason to be proxying unless you have something to hide. Which is suspicious tbh.

It's not against the rules. Just remember some scrips don't work well on proxies
