Backwards messages is in almost everything from music to commercials it's used kinda as mind control but we can't really hear it the unless we play it backwards, But are brains can still understand and take the message. Subliminal messages were used in movie theaters so it could get people to buy popcorn and ect. For more info go online and research subliminal messages, it also has something to do with the illuminati.

Backmasking is awesome. It doesn't really accomplish anything, your sub-conscious doesn't actually hear anything, so listening to Stairway to Heaven won't make you want to worship satan. But what bands have done with it to make fun of these allegations is hilarious. Here are a few examples:

J. Geils song "No Anchovies Please" backmasks "It doesn't take a genius to tell the difference between chicken shit and chicken salad."

Poesie Noire backmasked "You fucking asshole, play the record in the normal way" in one of their songs

ELO backmasked "The music is reversible, but time is not. Turn back! Turn back! Turn back!
