I am suppose to be journaling about anger for my counselor. I dont have a problem with this but all I can think about is cutting and how I may have gone too deep last night.....or course I could never write that since i have to share what i write with her. All I have got so far is that anger triggers me in some ways to want to cut more. Self destruction....that is the path I am on.

Slow down here bub...
I have had anger issues myself, not as far as cutting myself...
I have never quite got the concept of cutting yourself, or what gains you get from it? Care to explain?
I have done things iv regret from getting angry, i got in a fist fight with my dad.. the next day he had a heart attack. I punched a hole through the wall (all the way to the other side) and spent a day fixing it. I tore the hell out of my hand twice punching a metal chair, then a chainsaw.. yea.
I drove myself to a seizure cause i kept bottling up my anger. And thought i was to tough to let my anger get the best of me.. well it did. Iv learned to coop with my anger... iv seen the relationships its destroyed, and the weird looks i got from it. I found a hobby to help with alot of it.
I would tell your counsler... remember she is there to help you my friend. Stay strong.

I'm kind of in the same place as you now. Except I have a gang of nosey woman on my back. And I know no matter what I say, people just can't GET it, unless the've BEEN there. So I end up bottling my depression and frustration untill it feels like I'm going to explode. I would get a spiral note book, and just fill up the pages with whatever the hell you want. Thats what I do. I have words scrawled across hundreds of pages in sharpie, pencil, crayon, whatever I have to write with on hand. But you don't have to show it to anyone. Just express yourself on paper, and if you come to trust someone enough, give them the note book. If you don't, stash them somewhere safe until you do. Sorry I'm not much help. ~Holli
