I just installed a USB 2.0 PCI card on my computer and I feel very proud of myself :D . I needed it for my Ipod mini.

Lol. Silver. Just the 4 GB one, (what am I saying, 4 gb on a (kind-of) mp3 player? JUST 4 gb?) That's all I really need. (Again, what have I used, like 200 mb?) I'm just very proud of myself for first figuring out how to open the computer and then how to stick the PCI card in :)

I have a silver too. They perform brilliantly, but I suggest you get an Iskin for it. that way if you drop it, which you almost deffinantly will, it will be protected.

I'll look into it. And honestly any color other than silver is too flashy.

The ipod doesn't come with a firewire cable, only a USB 2.0 cable, and I needed more USB ports anyway.

Your only using 200mb? :P Why not jus buy a 256 MP3 :P save yourself a lotta pocket. Ive got like 6GB of music on my PC and its always growing.

That reminds me that I need USB 2 in my computer. It's a P4 1.8GHz, yet it doesn't have USB 2. Hmm...

I think I need a new computer instead though. I want one anyway, then, I wouldn't need a card. This computer's getting a little slow anyway.

I was still using my old 32meg MP3 Player. An iPod is a lot better, but it doesn't really serve any purpose for me, since the only time I listen to music is when I'm at my computer, or in my car.

I need a mobo with scsi ready ports :( PCI adapters are too slow for scsi - even IDE would be faster with ultra ata or serial :? hmmm... do they have scsi adapters for pci-e mmmm say 4x or 8x? heh, that would be so much better since pci-e is serial instead of parallel and the 1x can still transer for data than a normal pci slot.
