View Full Version : Early Shaving?

Well, I'm gonna be 15 in July, and I started getting straight pubic hair in probably september, or something, and now, it's gotten thicker, and darker, but not curlier. If I were to shave now, would it take as long as it did to grow back? Or would it grow quicker, because I hear once you shave, it grows back quicker.

I have a tiny bit of underarm hair, and I haven't measured my package, like everyone else on this site. I haven't ejaculated ever, but everytime i masturbate, i feel as if I'm going to, then a little burst of pee comes out.

I am about 5'7, and 120 pounds, I have a 6 pack, and pecks, but can only bench about 115-120. Is this because my arms haven't fully gotten into puberty, making it harder to gain muscle?

Please help. Being in 9th grade, and not having a developed voice is brutal >_>

I also think this is hurting my chances with the ladies, they don't want a guy who hasn't fully hit puberty yet.

You can lift your own weight, thats completly fine and wanting anything more would be a bit unnatural or not so healthy..

Just wait, and no I wouldn't shave my pubes at all but if you want to just know it will itch like hell.. I am not sure about the growing part, usually when you shave any hair it just grows back thicker and sometimes faster.. I can't say I care about the speed of its growth :P

Thanks. I am hoping for a lot of replies, so anyone who reads this thread, any info you have would be nice. [:

I am just hoping my voice will break-in over summer, so it's not medium one day, then deep the next, then I will have to go through the torture of hearing "OMG YOUR VOICE!!" 60,000 times that day >_>

Hair doesn't grow back thicker and faster. It's just a myth. Also, if people say things about your voice, just brush it off. It won't be that big of deal.

Sometimes it's hard though. 8 more days of my freshmen year, and most of my friends have had sex, already.

But the question still stands, do you think if it took that long to get...well, dark down there, it will take that long again?

Alot say that shaving it makes it itch like hell. I'd suggest not shaving it at all!

You may want to ask a doctor about this. Are you masturbating regularly or using a different technique? You may also want to use the bathroom before you jack.

Is that a max? It could be that you haven't gotten into puberty enough to gain muscle easily, but you should also make sure your triceps are strong too. You use your triceps a lot while benching. You may also want to work out more often (if you aren't)

Don't worry man, I'm going into 9th grade and my voice isn't all that diff. I'm a little bit behind people even though I started puberty at age 11. The best thing to do is like me - either make it so it sounds lower, or just talk like you usually would and laugh when they talk about your voice and say "I know". If you feel comfortable with your voice, people will notice it less.

Puberty takes it's sweet, crappy, prolonged time...just have fun with the changes and learn new things along the way to pass the time. But don't let time go by too fast ;-)

Who cares? I'm 17 and I've never had sex. I'm not in a hurry to lose my virginity and you shouldn't either just because others are. Plus, most people lie so you cant be sure anyway if they lost it (not that it matters).

It's worth the risk of pregnancy or STDs just so you can be like everyone else. Don't give in to peer pressure and be a free thinker.

hmm i might have to disagree with you on that. unless it's only pubic hair that doesnt do that. i have facial hair and when i shave it, it seems to grow back quicker and very thick. i know another kid who (exaggeratingly) can grow a full beard in a few hours. now i just said that exaggeratingly, but i mean his grows in really fast. and he's only one year ahead of me

Well you can disagree but you're wrong still. Do some research. ;)

As for your friend, people grow hair back at different rates. Some people need to shave everyday while some once a week. Everybody is different.

I decided to follow through with it, and shave my pubes off.

Problems now, are...

1. Really bad itching, my god.
2. Whenever i go to the bathroom, or just look down, I don't feel as much of a man, as I think I should.

I think from now on I'm just gonna keep them trimmed, not shaved all the way. I just hope the hair grows back within the next few weeks.
