Girl I'm interested in

So to introduce myself I'm 16 years old and a Junior in HS. I enjoy running, surfing, fishing and having fun. Anyways theres this girl that i recently met. She's a sophomore and we share common interests. I have been trying to be courteous to her by letting her go before me, holding doors for her etc. but she always insists i go first. Im not sure if she know I'm into her and i am confused where i should go with this. Any help would be appreciated.

Holding doors is nice, but a lot of guys do it, so she might not think of it like that.
She might want to let you go first because she feels weird about you holding the door for her. (I'm not saying that it's a bad thing or that you shouldn't.) It might feel a little demeaning if she's independent (like she feels like she can do it herself), or maybe she just feels self-conscious. When guys hold doors for me, this is sometimes how I feel.

I agree, step it up a little. Hang out with her, talk to her. Be nice and respectful, and be yourself. :)

You may need to be a little more obvious, letting a girl go first and holding doors open is something I do with most girls.
