You can't "become" straight. You were born the way you are, nothing can change it, and there is nothing wrong with you. If they honestly believe that there is, then they aren't in their right mind. You're beautiful the way you are. Be yourself, and good luck :.

If you say you were born that way, then why do you think that camps could change that?

No those camps are just places that make you feel guilt and have long term depression.
It is actually damaging to any people who attend them. They say "god hates you" but that is obviously a lie because god loves everyone even the people who followed Lucifer into hell. God wants you to be happy and one being who they are will make themselves happy.

First, I saw that episode of South Park and I thought it was the stupidest thing ever because he didn't know that when they said he was "curious" they meant gay. Also, people would have to be seriously ignorant and unloving parents to send their child to a camp like that, even if they do exist. I would say that South Park is not a very reliable source... I'm sure there are some idiots out there that think they can "fix" gay people, but hopefully, even if your parents are ignorant enough to believe that, their love for you will cancel out their other beliefs. I came out to my parents and I was prepared for a strong reaction from them, but they seemed more concerned about how I was handling it, because they loved me. You just have to trust your parents to care about you.

As long as there are people who don't accept their sexuality or that of their children there are likely to be such camps or programmes - the businesses that provide them are catering for market.
That does not mean those camps are a good thing to go on or that they work. The accepted opinion at the moment seems to be that they don't though I have not searched for scientific studies to back that up.
Interestingly Fritz Klein asserts that sexual orientation can change over time though that is not the same thing as having voluntary control over it. What are we to make, for example, of Lord Boothby who spent his university days and immediately afterward until 25 having sex with men and then started to have sex with women too.

I'm sure they exist but they won't make you straight, they'll make you afraid of being bisexual though.

Well it's pretty much impossible to do that!!! However I have seen places that help you "hide your gayness"! I just think if I'm going to be bi, I want to be both halves!!

if you saw it in south park you would realize that kids there were unhappy, they killed themselves!
it's just the way you are, if you try to change yourself, deep inside you will feel unhappy, it may cause some major (sometimes hidden) psychological problems

The short answer is: Yes, there are places like that.
The Longer answer is: Yes, there are people who belive that being gay or bisexual is a sort of disease. Who think they can just be "trained" or "beaten" out, there are numerous places who resort to high amounts of violence and scare tactics to simply get you afraid of being gay/bi. It's a very sad thing to think that people think it is possible to simply "Remove" your attraction to a person/gender.
I hope i answered your question with enough details. If you wish for more info, just throw me a PM :)

I don't know of any camps there are coucelors and groups out there you can go to. But, let face it if you are gay or BI you are who you are.
