Parents can't figure it out?

My bedroom has a door and a lock. Regularly, my parent walk casually up the stairs and walk straight into my room without knocking. Now, they just knock and don't leave time for a response and open the door. I've started locking the door. Now they see the door shut, keep knocking until i respond and then ask me why the door is locked.

They can't seriously be this daft. My mom's friend with no kids had to explain to her why tissue paper seemed to go by quickly. She said she hadn't thought of that.

Can they really not understand that my door is closed and locked because I'm jerking off and don't want to be disturbed?

Has anything similar happened to any of you or do they pretty much get the picture?

um...yes so every time they some upstairs i either lock the door or finish up/ ignore them when they knock when the door is locked...but yah my parents are the same way

uhm dude just talk to your parents bout it and let them know your growing up and need some privacy you dont have to outright tell them you want to jerk off lol but im sure they will get the hint our parents dont want to ever see that we are growing up so we have to remind them of it sometimes

omg yes! Its so annoying. I only do it at night but for some reason I'm supposably not supposed to be on the computer after I go to bed, so she'll actually come up if she suspects I am. I started locking the door because it get disturbed when im busy :p so now all I hear is constant knocking lol talk about a boner killer....

Yes my parents are the same way. When ever my door is locked they always unlock it very fast or ask me why its locked. I don't think they know Im masterbating but its annoying when I really am because they distract me and some times scare the crap out of me.

Same thing with me. Sometimes I just want to try sleeping naked and I lock the door. When they try to wake me up and the doors locked, they ask me why it's locked.

You could always try talking to them, though. Just be like "Mom, I'm 17, can I please have some privacy around here? [I'm trying to do homework.]"

Some parents just don't get it I guess thats as bad as being in the bathroom with the door locked and them knocking and asking if ur in there

My mom only walked in on me once while jackin....she just backed out and closed the door. to this day nothing has been said about the incident and she does not just walk in my room anymore.

I know exactly what you mean man. My grandparents are on a long term visit and them plus my mom is a nightmare. In and out all day and night. "Evan can you fix the tv" "Evan how do I check my messages" "Evan Evan Evan Evan...." so annoying so the only time I can have "happy time" is when I am home alone or it's really late.
