it's GCSE options time soon for year nines, and i dont know what courses I can and should take, besides maths, english and science, etc. heres the extra things I want to do...
Art
textiles
Food tech
Media studies
Business

will someone who knows the current stuff for the UK, like how many techs i can take etc please help me because I'm so stressed about deciding what to take.. xxx

Okay well putting it in the simplest way: What you take for GCSE doesn't need to be what you want as a career when you're older. Although it may affect what A levels you want to do you'll still have free choice of what you want to do as a career unless the uni course needs subject specific A-Levels, but atm you don't need to worry about that.

Just choose the things you enjoy the most because at the end of the day thats what its about and it'll help if you enjoy what you do. Remember with Art based subjects though that its not free reign, you'll need to draw, pain and design things that the criteria states, not what you want, thats what i hated most about GCSE art but if you're okay with that then there shouldn't be a problem.

GCSE's don't tend to mean squat in the long term. Just make sure you do as well as you can in your GCSEs, especially the core subjects: English, Maths and Science, if you want to go to uni remember that they all require either at least a C or B in the core subjects, no matter what course you do.
