I recently became really self concious of my teeth, I spose they are fine but they arnt that white.. so I decided to whiten them.
the best thing I found was Hydrogen Peroxide, on the internet it seems all fine and stuff. It wasnt until I went to the chemist and brought a bottle I saw on the bottle "FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY" it also says it may be harmful if swallowed and to avoid breathing vapours.
the bottle I have is 3% concentrate, so it should be fine but yeah I kinda concerned about using this stuff...
has anyone else whitened their teeth or know anything about using Hydrogen Peroxide to do it?

Hmm well they often use bleaching for teeth, so perhaps those tihngs would have peroxide in them too and if it is a product for teeth whitening then it does go on your teeth. Its probably not the best stuff to have so you only kinda polish ur teeth with it and that little bit shouldnt hurt, but getting a cleaning from the dentist can also be a great way to help your teeth stay white and they'll have advice for it as well!

Maybe try whitening tooth paste first and see if there are results? That's what my dentist gave me after getting a clean and it's worked flawlessly :)

use armand hammer toothpaste
its enriched with baking soda but dont use it for longer than 3 months because evntually it will break down the enamel on your teeth giving them less protection. i use crest 3d white toothpaste and that stuff works amazingly
i had whiter teeth even being a smoker than i had ever had in a long time.
i recommened it. its costs 5-8 $ in most stores

Hydrogen peroxide is great for it, as well as Arm and Hammer. I used the Crest White Strips 2 Hour Express and I got great results. The results I got would take 2-3 weeks of using hydrogen peroxide every day to equal the 2 hours it took for the white strips. Try to get those, they work wonders :)

In all honesty, the best thing would be to go to a cosmetic dentist and have them do it. Yeah, it will cost a bit more than the DIY options, but the results will be more permanent and will definitely look better.

Whitening products use peroxide. But the beauty in them (excuse the pun) is they concentrate the peroxide on the teeth ONLY. Peroxide damages tissue. That's why you don't want to swallow it. And it will be irritating to your gums especially. Whitening tooth paste and mouth rinses work over long periods of time. This is because they have to have such a small amount of peroxide as to not cause irritation. People aren't going to use the product if their gums start to hurt. And whitening strips work the fastest because they can minimize the contact to the tissue as long as they are used properly.

Ever since I got my braces I've been very conscious about my teeth. I noticed that they weren't very white, as such. Around the same time, my parents started buying tooth-whitening toothpaste for themselves, and I use it too. Since October, I have noticed a massive difference in my teeth colour. I would definitely recommend the toothpaste, since it is safer (albeit, takes longer), but definitely worth it :D

You can either just swish hydrogen peroxide in your mouth for 30 seconds a day and after a month or two you'll notice a small improve, ent. Or you can do the Crest Whitening, the price range is $50-$125. I would recommend the 2 hour whitening express (or something like that). You can also do toothpastes. I would Highly recommend the Crest 3D White Glamorous White toothpaste, it removes 90% of surface stains in 5 days. I used it and it was great, but I'm currently trying out Rembrandt Intensive Stain, which seems to be doing good. But it's about $8 a tube, but it's worth it. It lasts about 1 month or so.

If you do the Crest White strips, it can look just as good as a dentist visit. And it's kinda impossible for it to look better, cause its whitening your teeth, it's to like your wearing it for a long time. The whitening strips works just as good as a dentist visit. And you don't have to waste an hour in the dentist.
