How do you feel about the new technology in are future? RFID stands for radio frequency identification device and it's used to identify a person like an ID and is put in your shoulder, right hand, or even you forehead. If you want more information or the bad news from it google it cause my version of it is scary. But what do you think about it?

I don't really see what would be too wrong about it. Great for identifying missing/killed people.

What's wrong is that if you do a crime, steal something, or just not follow orders a chemical that's in the chip will remotely release in side of you and kill you. And its also the mark of the beast. It can also track any and every move you make so there no privacy. By the year 2017 everyone will be asked to take it if you don't then you can't by food and ect.

Hahaha, paranoid much?
Let's just leave this at this is not happening.

Uh, no. RFID is nowhere near powerful enough to track your movements. There's not even a battery in these chips. RFID isn't activated until an induction loop supplies enough electro-magnetic power to power the transmitter in the RFID chip. Which is why they can't even attempt to track your movement.
And if they could, they'd require a power pack about the size of a 9V battery, which would need to be charged on a weekly basis. Do you really see that happening?

Do you even have a source for this? No?
I didn't think so.

RFID really isn't anything to be afraid of. Most of us already carry around a few RFID chips without even realizing it (Debit/credit cards anyone?). For us to carry around a form of ID that we cannot lose, that contains our name, blood type, address, phone number, realitivies, alergies, current medication, and so on and so on is pretty bloody amazing.
I'd sure want it if I was found unconcious somewhere, with my wallet not on me.

Honestly won't happen. Unconstitutional.

In the last chapter of the wha-? Lol, you must be trolling.
When the bible was written, there was no such thing as RFID.

And technologies keep getting more sophisticated. Already read the post, right now it's not feasible. In the future? Yes, very well possible.

As to the powering of the RFID chips, our own body creates a small amount of electricity itself, if the process is refined enough RFID chips could very well be powered by the body itself.

As to the tracking of the chips, say the government requires that every store has to have a receiver in their doorway, to keep track of "Visitors".

No, I'm not trying to sound like a conspiracy nut, but you know at least the American government would do this if they could.

I don't want a chip inside me. I'd rather carry ID.

Sounds like a bad idea. And sounds a bit like malarkey. Have you read pretties?

This thread really needs to change it's title. It's less about RFID than it is about ID implanted into your body. RFID is in passcards, credit cards and more.

Anyways no, I wouldn't want a ID chip implanted inside me. Just too many possibilities for something to go wrong.
