I don't want to kill myself, so I want to know where not to cut, so basically can you highlight any dangerous places so i miss those places as i dont want to kill myself. Currently i cut on my hip, leg and wrist (all the left side) but lately i've been doing it when im not in control so im going to other places...

Obviously, no one here is going to condone self harm or help you to do it, but we'll help you stay safe.
Wrists probably have the highest rates of accidently hitting an artery, which could possibly cause you to lose a fatal amount of blood.
But most places on your body carry a risk of bleeding out if you cut too deep. So instead of worrying about where you're cutting, it's probably best to focus on not going too deep.

Thankyou for the advice, I just want to stay safe. I don't go very deep anyway but I'd read some horror stories on the internet, so I was just wondering which area's are most dngerous so I can avoid them. Thanks again :)

If you don't wanna kill yourself, find better ways to cope with stress and depression so you don't end up with suicidal thoughts... and try and be safe and talk to someone before things get to out of hand because trust me it can.

The part of the wrist right before the edge of the hand. There is a MAJOR artery there and that would kill u if u cut too deep but cutting is still bad so try and stop

Don't cut anywhere!!
Telling a cutter not to cut is like telling a pot head no to smoke.
Or a drunk not to drink.
It dosnt work at all.
Im js. Its hard to controll

It goes without saying that if you don't want to get caught- stick to places covered by clothing.
People usually know that they shouldn't cut, but when you're triggered you need a cut.

Okay, telling someone just not to cut or 'your body' as a place not to truly is not helpful unless you actually have suggestions of how to do so.
Though, they are right but that's not the point of this thread.
Anyway, yes, right at the base of your wrist is a major artery. If you were to cut too deep anywhere, however, make sure to get yourself help right away. Just in case, wrap whatever cuts with a towel and call 911 or a parent for help if it at all seems bad.
There's a sticky here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21146) that explains first aid and what to do in an emergency as well as caring for cuts later as infections, when left to get bad on their own, can also be life-threatening.

Honestly, if you're not already cutting (which it sounds like you're not, correct me if I'm wrong) I wouldn't turn to cutting at all. This is comming from someone who's been addicted to cutting for almost two years. Get help before this starts. Cutting isn't somthing you can control, but it's NOT a healthy way to deal with your stress. Back to your question. Right at the base of your hand, the skin gets thinner and theres a major artery, the closer to your hand you get, the more intense the pain, the closer to your elbow you get, the weaker the pain. Pain is your body's way of telling you somthing is wrong, it's a warning system. It's purpose is to notify you that somthing has damaged you. The more pain you feel, the farther away from that area you need to go. The crook of your elbow is another place to avoid, and the underside of your knees. Basiclly, try to avoid joints. I go for my upper arm, or my forearm normaly.
