Interesting question. I suppose it depends on what your definition of what sex is. If you GAVE anal, and only did it the once, you could be experimenting. If you received anal, and only did it the once, you still could be experimenting. If it was only a h/j or b/j, then you have not lost your virginity, so it was only experimenting.

I think you are only gay if you have feelings for people of the same sex, and only attracted to people of the same sex. If however, you still have feelings for both sexes, then you MIGHT be bi at worst, or just curious. There are loads of threads on here about being curious so just read up and make up your own mind.

That is actually the best and most insightful answer so far IMO.

So many guys are prepared to say, "Yes you're gay", but it's not as simple as that. There's a huge difference between two friends playing around just to get off and two guys that actually have deep feelings for each other making love.

I've had sex with girls, I am most certainly not straight, and to be honest I don't think I'm bi either. Many homosexuals are capable of having sex with the opposite gender, so why is it wierd to think that many straight people are capable of having sex with their own gender? But being physically capable doesn't mean much. I know for myself that when I had the sex it felt wrong inside, there were other aspects too that I don't want to go into, but simply being able to get erect, penetrate and orgasm didn't really count for much.

And a lot of people have said that if you have feelings for him then it means you're gay but I disagree coz I've had crushes on girls before but I know I AM gay, so maybe for you even if there are feelings its just a crush or something. Anyway, personally I don't like the labels gay/bi/straight for exactly this reason. I don't think there's anything to figure out... it doesn't mean you MUST decide your sexuality.... it just means you did it with a guy. You could do it with a girl tomorrow, so I don't think it "means" anything :) It's just like trying a different flavour of ice cream lol. it all depends on your own definition. What determines whether your considered gay is if your feelings, not if you had sex with a guy. those are two very different things. But if it went or you let it in, then you should start thinking about whether you're bi, gay, or experimenting
