So basically I am 17 and straight and I just want some of your advice and opinions on my problem that is becoming quite an issue in my life now.
So I have left school and started going to college, after I left school I never see people any more and I finally realised how boring life is, all I seem to do is the same routine over and over and I want something good like the girlfriend to come into my life.
The problem is that I actually want companionship and I am not interested in sex as a priority unlike most people. All I see today is these modern flings where people just link up for sex and that's it and I don't want anything like that, I am more interested in the little things such as kissing, hugs and cuddles.
All I want to know is how would you approach this situation from my perspective?
Firstly I am not that desperate to take anybody I do want to make sure that they match well with me e.g. personality, tastes etc.
Also I am very shy/awkward with people in real life unless I get to know them well which is not good for meeting and conversing with girls. Also I am very quiet and don't tend to talk much but I have loads to talk about if asked.
I was always the one to be more of a friend to girls than a boyfriend I think my personality is too friend like.
