Well duh! ;) That's usually how it is. :P
If you're not into sports you can always run at the track or get a gym membership. Maybe ride a bike, walking around the neighborhood, etc.
There are plenty of ways to be active other than sports.

Well walking is a good way to start but eventually you'll need to start running if you want to continue to lose weight.

What I have found is that I am of a healthy weight, it's just that I need to tone up. So I have a few exercises to start doing like sit-ups for my stomach and some weird bum clenches to tone my bum. I'll do these 10x each day then as I go I gradually increase that to 15, 20, 25, 30. Maybe that's a possibility for you

Well sit-up's will help tone you, but you need to do more movement excersizes if you want to get the weight off.

It really doesn't matter what time you eat. What matters is what you actually eat.

Eating carbs right before you sleep isn't a good idea as you don't have time to use it all up.

Oh man! I definitely feel your pain! At one point, I weighed myself like a couple times a day, everyday. I was CONSUMED by my weight. I just started to look at myself in the mirror more and I became happy with my body. Try doing that when you get out of the shower. Pick out all the parts that you like about yourself and you'll eventually come around to liking your whole body! It worked for me and now I have as much self-confidence as ever! And btw, your probably not as fat as you think you are! :)

This is a good idea!! Also, drink A LOT of water!! This will peel off a couple pounds. Not only that, but it will improve you skin too!

All people are insecure about the way they look at times regardless of they look. Just eat better and commit to exercise more, and find a way to motivate yourself.
oh yea heres a trick i used to do...
eat a big breakfast considering that you do most of your work after you are going to eat your first meal. Then eat a smaller lunch and dinner, really makes no sense to be sleeping on a full stomach knowing that is the time when you are least active and you wont burn anything off at all.

[DON'T DOUBLE POST] - Bobby well crying about it wont do you any good. i used to be the same way until about 8 months ago i got off my ass and got a gym membership. now im proud of the way that my body looks. getting in shape isent easy. it takes lots and lots of hard work and commitment. you also have to watch what you eat. i used to hate the way i looked before to, and i use that as motivation to go to the gym at least 5 times a week and do cardio at least 3 times a week. Just think how badly you want to be in shape and use that to fire you up for workouts and to never half ass what you do. dont get discouraged either, building muscle takes time.

I used to hate how skinny I was (like a stick). So I took a weight training class, and it's true that it does take time to build muscle. Although once you get the motivation and a jump start, it'll seem easier. I'm not completely happy with my body, but I know that since I started, it'll be great from here as long as I keep going. It'll also help with depression because it gets out extra energy and produces endorphins that heighten your mood! :D
I totally agree with serial-thrilla and Anthony
Here are some good tricks that I just read in the thread:
