Big Problem!

I have swimming in PE on monday and i have no idea what to do. On Thursday i cut about 20 times on my right leg and they have scabbed over now, then on Friday i cut lots of straight lines down my left leg about 40 and they are very clearly self harm and i thought they would have scabbed more by now but they are still bright red.
Last week when swimming my friends saw the scars on my lower leg and lower arm and asked what they were and called them grazes. There is no way i will get away with these ones.
My mum doesnt know i cut, and im fine with not telling her at the moment, so i cant get a note or whatever, im going to get told off or people are going to get suspisious if i dont do it.
im really stuck and have no idea. please help!

Only suggestion I have, is to say you're on your period, and you can't. Obviously that's an obvious excuse, and only works once a month, but if you haven't used it before (or recently), you can use this one.

Other than that, I don't have any.

Haha we have an insensetive male teacher who says 'use a tampon, your not getting out of my lessons' and usually i do so my friends might susspect but i think its my best bet so thanks, didn't even think of that!!

The blood flow stops under water, and many teachers will give you a tampon and tell you to run with it.

Skip class. Or wear shorts.

shorts won't cover them the're to low and skipping class is a no can do, i dont have the guts :/

I understand why you don't want to dress out or whatever. So you could say your sick like you started throwing up right before, or not bring a suit and say you forgot, or have a headache and chlorine makes it worse, but I recommend really thinking about talking to someone you trust about it even if you don't want to change anything right know just having someone to talk face to face with can help cause it sounds like you don't have that. (:

Thanks yeah one of those might work. I honestly don't want anyone to talk to at the moment, no one that I know in life anyway. My friends will think I'm a freak my parents will blow it out of proportion and I don't need people judging me. But that's why I like this site, its basically anonymous and I can talk to people in the same position that know nothing of my background and stuff unless I post about it. but thanks :)

I did end up bunking in the end. no its weird, i dont know if there is something mentally wrong with me but i dont want any help, well not at the moment, i just want to keep cutting it helps more than anything else has.
and my pe teacher is useless, not being harsh but hes my tutor as well and im telling you he would not be any help :)
