Just wondering who all has a job? And if you do what is it?

I don't have one at the moment. But this past summer I did work at a bagel bakery.

I work in excavation, specializing in machine work (backhoes, ect.) Been doing it since I was around 14, do it every summer and break from school. Pays good, and it isn't boring.

Nope. I'm on a "gap year" as regards to my education, I'm only resitting GCSE Maths as an independent candidate (want to get from C to A), I plan to return to college in September 2012. I live in a shithole Midlands city which has high unemployment and I'm having real difficulty finding a job. I had an interview recently, but I didn't get the job, heh. I suppose I'm not trying as hard as I should but at least I'm not claiming benefits or anything, just scrounging off my folks instead.

I applied to the British Red Cross to be a volunteer event first aider a month or so ago but they haven't even got back to me.

I have 2 actually. I teach karate on sunday mornings, and I work at an after school care place in my old primary school. I only got the job because I went there myself, and I was offered a job when I went back to visit.

I love both of my jobs, the money's great, and I love kids, which is weird because I've always thought I'd hate kids considering how I get frustrated easily, but I'm very tolerant when it comes to kids.

The money really is amazing though. I get £10 for teaching for 1 hour on a sunday, and £20 for 3 hours work in the after school place. Sometimes I can get up to £50 a week if I'm lucky :P

I used to do that for free. I took karate for 8-9 years! Oh how I miss it!

I'm management at a Subway restaurant and have been working there three years. I do inventory, train people, do all the stuff you're supposed to do as a sandwich artist, help with the hiring process, and so on. I don't make proper pay, but it's enough to pay the bills. I love my job (on some days) but I won't be doing it forever.

Quit my job to have more time to volunteer at soup kitchens and the like. I feel I'm helping now. Although my old employer told me to call any time for odd jobs. I was the best on the construction crew.

I currently work at Subway. In fact, our store is the southernmost store in Australia. I hate it there at times, and other times it isn't too bad.

I am currently looking for a second job though, as my car is about to be written off, and I need to save like crazy so that I can buy another one.
