Do other gays/lesbians find those jokes funny or hurtful? Obviously it depends on the severity of the joke but I'm talking about like

"Why is Justin Bieber so pale? There's no light in the closet."
and
"Lesbianost"

I find this scale funny. wbu?

I'm bisexual, not gay, do you mind if I answer?

When it comes to casual jokes that don't have any ill meaning behind him (Like the Justin Bieber one you mentioned), that doesn't bother me. Even dirty jokes and the like, honestly, I find it sort of funny and I don't get bothered.

However, more hurtful and serious stuff would certainly make me feel a little uncomfortable.

well now, i dont mind the kind of jokes like the one of justin bieber XD... though i.... dont like the guy -_- , or others like that. i just really REALLY hate it, when people use the word "gay" as an insult or like "are you too gaay to do this, are you too gay to be that" etc etc.
that is what ticks me off.

I don't mind it at all as long as their isnt any malice behind them. I personally joke around about my sexuality with my friends all the time, but when someone says something back to personally hurt me, rather than just try and break the ice, it crosses a line. It doesnt bother me too much, but it raises a flag.

everyone else already said it, theres a line you can cross between funny and hurtful when it comes to gay jokes, that line is different for everyone. Why's bieber so pale? no light in closet= funny, versus: why are gays so hot? they're burnin in hell!= hurtful. There are boundaries, is the moral.
