Hey everybody,
Recently I have been getting some huge breakouts, lots of blackheads, and I just want it gone. Anybody have tips?

Go to a dermatologist, or just wash ur face more or get some special soap that gets all the oil off

wash your face with soap everynight with warm water before you go to bed, quick and easy and effective

This is exactly right, with just a little bit of effort you could possibly clear your complexion completely. I would suggest buying a Clearisil or Proactive face wash. Make sure you follow the directions on the bottle and try to use it every night. You'll notice a difference VERY quickly.

biggest thing is to do it every single night. its worth the effort

Used to have insanely bad acne. I now have a clean, spotless, acne scarless (one of the few) face so I know my stuff. First thing is first. Go see a dermatologist. They will perscribe you with something like Doxycycline. If you see no results within five months return to your dermatologist and broach the subject of acutane. It is god's gift to humans when it comes to acne but it comes with the price of having to put lotion on all the time else your skin will bleed. Once you get off the drug it'll fix itself but your lips will be prone to chap more. Just a heads up!

I have it, I use it. It works really well. I used to have terrible acne, but Proactive has pretty much cured that.

Hopefully your not like me and your skin will only respond to acutane. Proactive and other stuff never worked for me. It was either acutane or stick with the red blotches of doom.

dermatologist, wash your face like twice a day, scrub your face in the shower, proactiv, and that goodness

Try to get a prescription of Accutane (also known as Isotretinoin), or Roaccutane. It sorts out acne 100% quite quickly, but has some bad side effects such as bleeding nose at night.

First of all, lets disprove a few rumours;

Neutrogena, Clearasil and proactive are a load of rubbish designed to get desperate acne sufferers money. Believe me, I've tried all of them.

Soap is based on an acidic PH balance. Skin doesn’t react to a high acidic PH value very well. Put simply, soap+acne=bad

Don't get proper prescribed medicine to treat acne at first because in most mild to high moderate cases, it's not needed.

Now for some cures;

Rather than soap, use clay. It might sound a bit silly but it works a lot better than soap. Make yourself a clay facemask every day. Rather than using acidic soap to strip and dissolve impurities, clay actually absorbs it.

If you really want to use soap or can't find any clay, make sure it's medicated, acne soap. Just ask your drug store clerk about it.

Now here is the miracle acne cure (Cue angelic music):

Benzoyl Peroxide.

It worked for me!

Grab some aspirin and pound it, grab some water and mix it til it forms a paste. Then put it on your break out points.. Works well for me :P

Okay, just because they haven't worked for you doesn't mean they don't work for other people. So in turn, no they are not rubbish. Some products work well with others, some don't.

With you hands COMPLETELY CLEAN Wash your face with a purifying soap right after showering and right before going to bed, at night let it air dry and apply a layer of benzoil peroxide gel.
Cut dairy & excessive sugar
Eat fruit
Drink lots of water
Do no touch your face other than for washing
May take a few weeks to see results but if you do it right, you will
