I have briefs, trunks (boxer briefs with shorter length), boxer briefs and boxers. I use them all for different things.

Boxers: Only use them as sleep wear, cause I like the freedom when I'm trying to relax and sleep. Mostly tommy hilfiger but not really particular about the brand, and the color varies since they're stripped.
Boxer briefs: Wear them when I'm working out, only have a couple like black under armor compression shorts and a couple of striped american eagle pairs. They still give you a lot of freedom with a little bit of support, plus it helps keep my dry when I'm sweating down there.
Trunks: The type I wear the most, for most day to day activities and when I'm out of the house. To me they have the perfect balance between support and comfort, plus tighter underwear looks sexier to girls (and guys lol xD). I have a bunch of these mostly in black, but I got them when I was over in England so they're a foreign brand.
Briefs: I only have a couple of these and they're also stripped, like 2xist and Cin2. I wear them when going out to a party or club, cause they give a lot of support and look nice. Sometimes they feel too tight which is why I don't wear them that often.

I usually wear boxer briefs that are blue or white. And I only have Hanes but I want some like AE or CK. Because those look cool. But sometimes I like to wear briefs, because the closeness feels nice.

I love briefs and these compression shorts. I love how they hold everything tight and they fit my body well. Plus when I wear skinnies I need something to hold it all together. Oh yea and this year I take P.E. so I wear them cause I do go flopping around for everyone to see.
