So I have a friend he's in the 7th grade and lately well he's being an MAJOR ASS, see we like anime and I was telling him my favorite part in Soul Eater and he was like "No, it's really not" and I was like okay well he's farther than me and so there's probably funnier arts so I told him my favorite part of Naruto and he said "That one, where he has another mask thats not the funniest part at all" and I'm farther than him in Naruto. That really pissed me off and what's worse is he just acts like it's totally okay. And I totally wanna tell him to "shut the fuck up" but he's y only guy friend and well last guy friend I old off ended up just being partial friends but for a little bit he said "I was too soft" b/c I hang out with girls all the time. But the girls do say suff that I dont like it's just they never critisize my opinion but I still don't want to lose my guy friend now but I really want him to fuck off b/c I have my own opinion, so should I tell him off or do something else? Help please!!

Telling him off could work, but it'd annoy him even more. You have to let him know that if he doesn't find it funny, its okay, but you're entitled to your own opinion. Constructive criticism is alright, but there is always a fine line between rude and trying to help. Besides, anime is almost a silly reason to argue with a friend.

Agreed, Anime is a silly reason to argue with a friend - but I think you should just tell him that it bothers you.
