I'm in eighth grade, and next year I will be a freshman in high school. The teachers are putting a lot of pressure on us to plan out what we want to do throughout high school to get to our future career. My only problem is, I don't really know what I want to do yet. How am I supposed to do all of the things they ask when I really can't? Any advice on how to find a way to see what I could do or just get through the planning process until I figure it out?

Bullshit it. Plenty of people don't know what they want to do until they're well out of high school. Just put down things you're really interested in at the moment and could see yourself pursuing in the future. It's not like you're shackling yourself to a career this very moment.

The real pressure started today because some really rude lady came in and made us take career assessment tests and I really had no interest in most of them. It's really frustrating because they expect for us to know what we want to do now.

And what are they going to do about it if you're not interested in anything they're presenting? There are so many careers out there, I doubt your school has them all on paper.

Career assessment tests are shit, anyways. Nobody cares about the results. That's why there are so many cartoons focusing on kids flipping the hell out over their career test results.

I really hope that I can find something to rely on soon, though o.o Or else I'll basically be in some deep shit when it comes to planning my schedule for next year.

HAHAHA they made me do this bullshit too when I was in middle school... It's so stupid but whatever.. About 90% of stuff that you do in middle and high school is crap anyway. NO need to worry what-so-ever.. =D
